Hayley Norman

Hayley Norman is an agricultural scientist who is passionate about helping industry achieve profitable and environmentally sustainable farming systems. After gaining a PhD in the reproductive ecology of annual legumes, Hayley moved to CSIRO to investigate the development and use of drought and salt tolerant native shrubs. Hayley and her colleagues utilise systems modelling, near infrared spectroscopy, nutritional wisdom of sheep and farmer collaboration to optimise the plant improvement process. She led the development and commercialisation of AnamekaTM saltbush in 2015.
